Edited excerpts:

Why did you choose Apeejay Nerul ahead of other schools for your child’s admission?

Apeejay Nerul is one of the most reputed schools in our locality. It is a very old institution with a rich legacy in education, meticulously built over many years. It is one of the best schools here in Nerul, so that was the primary reason. Also, we stay in Vashi, so the school is hardly 15 minutes away from our home.

Please tell us a bit about Samhita and take us through her progress at school?

My daughter is a good student. She is a self-motivated and enthusiastic girl. She participates in all the events at school. She does well in all the subjects at school. She has scored A+ grade in all the subjects during her class 6 final term exams. She participated regularly in all the cultural events during the online classes as well. She also does the class coordination activities. Samhita likes to participate in athletics. She likes Maths the most among the subjects at school.

Are the teachers engaging well with the students?

Absolutely. We have seen that ourselves. We have observed the study pattern as well. We have seen the way the teachers encourage and appreciate the students. Samhita praises her class teacher Ms. Srikala Nayar, the Maths teacher Ms. Vijayalakshmi Ma’am and Maneesha Ma’am lot.

What is the best thing about the school?

The school is highly focused on what they do. Even during the pandemic, we have seen that the schools kept no loose ends. The school was very regular in all they did and I totally appreciate their efforts.

How was the experience of the online classes for Samhita?

Samhita enjoyed it a lot. Though she prefers the offline school environment. But nevertheless, the online classes were really appreciable. The efforts of teachers were so special. The teachers never had an off and they never had any issue with regards to the connectivity. It is commendable.

Now that the schools have reopened, is Samhita excited to be back in the school building?

She is very happy to be back at the school building for offline lessons.
