Mrs. Nidhi Gupta is a homemaker. Her husband Mr. Ankur Gupta is businessman in the garments sector. They are proud parents of Sanaya Gupta and Dhvisha Gupta class 2 and Nursery students at Apeejay School Charkhi Dadri respectively. In an informal interview, Mrs. Gupta mentions how the school has lived up to its excellent reputation of ensuring continuous progress of the students. Edited excerpts:

Why did you choose Apeejay Charkhi Dadri over other schools for their admission?

The school organises a lot of activities which leads to confidence building in the child. I see that in Sanaya as well. We had heard this review about the school and I am very happy to observe the same in my daughter. So, for our second child, I wanted the same environment as well.

Please tell us a bit about Sanaya and Dhvisha and take us through their progress at school?

Sanaya is very good at her studies. She studies very attentively in class. I don’t have to focus a lot on her studies when she comes home. She loves to participate in all the activities that the teachers organise. She likes drawing and dance the most. Dhvisha is too young to have a favourite subject. She just draws lines on the notebook at present. She is very naughty and participates in every activity along with her sister.

Are the teachers engaging well with the students?

Yes, absolutely. I would like to thank all the teachers at the school. All the teachers from Nursery to class 2 have always cooperated very well with us.

What is the best thing about the school?

During the pandemic, neither the progress of a student stopped on the academic front nor in extracurriculars. We used to observe that in other schools there would only be homework for the students. However, Apeejay Charkhi Dadri never missed delivering a single class to the students despite the pandemic. Other school students would just play while our children attended all their classes and kept learning and progressing.

The school celebrated every event be it Earth day or Christmas celebration. Apeejay students have grown in knowledge during the pandemic.

How has the experience of the online classes been for both the children?

It was very good. The teachers would give homework regularly and would promptly check it and send a reply to the student as well.

Now that the school has reopened, Sanaya and Dhvisha must be very happy to attend the physical classes?

Yes, Sanaya has missed school a lot in the past two years. Both the children are very happy to attend the school physically.
