An orientation marks the beginning of an exciting academic chapter, offering students their first glimpse into campus life and the journey that lies ahead. Understanding the significance of this transition, Apeejay School of Management (ASM), Dwarka recently organised an engaging and insightful orientation programme for its 33rd Batch.

The ongoing event was thoughtfully curated to welcome the new students of PGDM Batch 2025-27 and familiarise them with the institution’s ethos, faculty, and academic offerings. Designed to both motivate and guide, the orientation featured a blend of interactive sessions, faculty introductions, and glimpses into the dynamic world of media and communication. It served not only as an initiation into academic life but also as an energising platform to build connections and gain clarity about the curriculum and career opportunities. The programme successfully laid a strong foundation for students to begin their transformative journey in the field of media studies.

The inaugural ceremony of the orientation programme kickstarted on an inspiring note setting the tone for the process. The orientation was graced by Amit Pandey, Chief Executive Officer & Board of Directors at PinCap, who delivered the inaugural speech. Take a moment to explore the magnificent campus, it’s more than just modern infrastructure and cutting-edge teaching facilities. Though I’ve never been a management student myself, I can confidently say you’ve made a wise choice by joining our PGDM programme. Backed by quality infrastructure, rich library resources, industry visits, student-led activities, and rigorous placement training, your journey here will be a fulfilling and transformative one. Let the story of our founder-chairman, Dr. Stya Paul, inspire you as you begin this exciting new chapter.”

Subsequently the audience experienced an engaging leadership talk delivered by Amit Pandey, Chief Executive Officer & Board of Directors at PinCap that lit up the auditorium. Sharing his stories and powerful principles for success on how to begin one’s career right and keep the momentum going, he highlighted, “Miracles and magic do happen. You just need to prepare for the future instead of worrying about it. Let go of past regrets and truly live in the present. The more you worry, the less you live.”

He further engaged the audience by mentioning, “When faced with a problem, give it only 10 seconds; by the 11th, shift your mind toward the solution. Cultivate passion within you, because the greatest motivation lies in solving problems. Step out of your comfort zone; remember, every rejection is not a setback, but a redirection. Cross the comfort and fear zones, and you’ll find the learning zone. Face your challenges head-on. The power to choose and change lies within you.”
