ACFA, Jalandhar bags ASSOCHAM ‘Leading Institute of the Year Providing Multidisciplinary Programmes’ award

Adding another feather of victory to its glorious cap, Apeejay College of Fine Arts (ACFA), Jalandhar won the prestigious “Leading Institute of the Year Providing Multidisciplinary Programmes” award in the recently concluded 15th International Education Leadership and Skill Development Summit 2022 organised by ASSOCHAM. The award was presented by Shri Rajendra Agrawal, Hon’ble Member of Parliament (Lok Sabha).

The summit was held at Shangri-La, New Delhi and attended by various vice chancellors, directors, academicians, and business leaders from across the country.

Soaring high in its efforts, the institution aims at producing world-class students with a technical edge and high confidence level, ready to be absorbed in the global market. In addition to the above-mentioned accolade, ACFA is accredited A+ Grade by NAAC (Third Cycle) and certified College with Potential for Excellence by the University Grants Commission (UGC). It also got Mentor College Status by UGC under Paramarsh scheme and was also granted the DDU Kaushal Kendra by UGC.

Speaking about the achievement, Dr. Neerja Dhingra, Principal of the institute said, “ACFA has been following a multidisciplinary approach since its inception. The New Education Policy offers flexibility for the learners to choose their learning trajectories giving equal importance to all the subjects including Arts, Sciences, Physical Education as well as other extracurricular activities. Along these lines, we are already running multiple courses like Visual Arts, Performing Arts, Computers, Physiotherapy, Design, Multimedia and many more.”
