Schools instill values such as honesty, integrity, respect, and responsibility through character education programmes and moral science discussions. Students learn to act with integrity and compassion in their interactions with others. This is one such school providing the most befitting educative environment, says Deepak Mohan, whose child Hetanshi is studying in class 2 at Apeejay School, Charkhi Dadri.
Read excerpts from the interview in which the father appreciates the school’s academic system:
Why did you select Apeejay for your daughter?
Both I and my sister are from this school and we have had a wonderful school life and are now achievers and well settled in our respective fields. Hence, it was a decision by default that my child will go to the same school. The school environment is also good and conducive for my child.
How are the teachers here?
All the teachers here are extra careful and considerate for children here. They are always available on call or WhatsApp for any communication. They are also very professionally efficient who go an extra mile to make students learn and grasp various subjects.
What are the special techniques used by teachers here?
The academic system here is up to date integrating the current trends in education. The school gives special emphasis to moral education, which goes a long way in inculcating strong valuable virtues.
How has the school influenced Hetanshi’s growth?
My child will soon get promoted to class 2; she is now 6 years old. Her journey so far in school has been a ride filled with great learning and development. First of all, her conversational skills in English have mainly improved remarkably. This makes us super proud as parents.
Do you believe in the adage – that school is the second home for a child?
Each time my daughter is at school, we are rest assured that she will be in a safe learning environment. None of us are apprehensive about her future anymore since we are sure she is going to outshine others with this strong school foundation.
How are the sports and extra-curricular activities at the school?
It is wonderful and follows an apt balance with academics. My daughter specifically loves to participate in different kinds of cultural activities that are organised at the school around festival time.
Do you interact with your child about school?
She has too many stories to tell us regularly. Hetanshi will talk to us about what all she learned at the school and how the day went, like the games she played and things she talked about with her friends at school.
