When it comes to Kargil Vijay Diwas, I feel so emotional and Happy at the same moment. During my vacation, I had the opportunity to visit the Kargil War Memorial. As I walked through the memorial, I was overwhelmed with goosebumps, witnessing firsthand how our brave soldiers sacrificed their lives for the nation.

In the gallery, I saw letters written by soldiers to their families. These heartfelt messages were filled with love and hope, making their memories come alive. The gallery also displayed various items seized from Pakistani soldiers, adding a poignant reminder of the conflict.

I had the opportunity to see Tiger Hill, Batra Top, and Rhino Hill. Each of these places bore silent testimony to the bravery and sacrifice of our soldiers. I left a message note at the memorial, paying tribute to their sacrifices.

My heart broke with tears when I saw the war cemetery with so many soldiers’ graves. The sight of the Bofors Auto Canon, the hero of Kargil, standing tall and proud, filled me with immense pride and sorrow. An officer narrated stories of valor and bravery, detailing the sacrifices made by different soldiers. Each story was a testament to their unwavering courage and dedication.

Kargil Vijay Diwas is not just a day of celebration but a reminder of the immense sacrifices made by our soldiers. It is a day to honor their bravery and remember their legacy. Visiting the Kargil War Memorial was a humbling experience that deepened my respect for the heroes who fought for our freedom
