Meet Ms Namrata Gupta, mother of Riana Gupta, student of Apeejay Rhythms Kinderworld, Gk-II. From helping Riana settle comfortably to nurturing her love for dance, music and yoga, Namrita shares how the school’s caring teachers and activity-based learning have helped her daughter grow in confidence. She also highlights the trust she places in the school’s safe and supportive environment.
How has your experience with Apeejay Rhythms Kindaerworld been so far?
My experience has been excellent. Around seven-eight years ago, my son studied here in pre-primary, and we were very happy with the teachers and the environment. When it was time to choose a preschool for my daughter, we explored several options but eventually returned to the school because of our positive experience.
How has Riana adjusted to the school?
She has adjusted remarkably well. Initially, I was worried because she is very close to me, and I thought she might take time to settle. The school allowed me to be in her classroom for about a week, which helped both of us. Gradually, she started enjoying the activities and now looks forward to going to school every day.
Does she enjoy the activities and meals at school?
Absolutely. She particularly enjoys dance and music-based activities. I also love the way concepts are taught through activities because I feel that is the best approach for children at this age. She enjoys yoga too and often comes home demonstrating different poses. She eats well at school and even asks for more when she is hungry.
How confident are you about her safety and security at school?
I have complete faith in the teachers and the school. I have known some of the teachers for years, and the principal has been there since my son’s time. That gives me a great sense of confidence.
As a working mother, how do you manage quality time with her?
I make spending time with her a priority. I try to keep her engaged through reading, storytelling, colouring, painting, clay activities, music, and dance. We also visit the park together. I have successfully kept her largely off screens, although it has required consistent effort.
Would you recommend the school to other parents?
Definitely. I am very satisfied with the school and, so far, I have no complaints. I can genuinely see a positive change in Riana.
