Apeejay School, Pitampura, honours Dr Stya Paul’s legacy on Founder’s Day
The celebration highlighted the determination and perseverance that shaped Dr Stya Paul’s vision for education
Founder’s Day at Apeejay School, Pitampura, was an occasion to remember the life, values and contributions of its Founder-Chairman, Dr Stya Paul. Celebrated with enthusiasm and reverence, the event brought his journey into focus, particularly the determination and perseverance that shaped his vision for education.
The programme reflected how his ideals continue to influence the Apeejay family, with students paying tribute through performances and recognising the importance of human values.
Remembering the Founder’s vision
The celebration began with the school Principal, Mrs Veena Goel, reading a message from Mrs Sushma Paul Berlia, Chairman, Apeejay Stya & Svran Group, Chancellor, Apeejay Stya University, and Chairman, Apeejay Education. The message reflected the vision and principles that continue to guide Apeejay Education.
One of the highlights was a skit titled Sangharsh Se Safalta Tak, presented by students of Discipline House. Through their performance, the students traced Dr Stya Paul’s journey, bringing attention to the struggles he faced and the determination with which he pursued his goals. The presentation also showed how he gradually built an educational legacy, one institution at a time.
Recognising values and inspiring students
An important part of the celebration was the presentation of the Dr Stya Paul Human Values Awards. These were conferred upon students who had demonstrated exemplary conduct and upheld the values associated with the Founder-Chairman. The recognition emphasised character, integrity and compassion.
Head Boy Divjyot Singh then addressed the gathering, encouraging fellow students to draw inspiration from Dr Stya Paul’s life. He spoke about facing challenges with resilience and remaining committed to integrity, determination and service.
The programme concluded with a dance performance titled Journey of Dreams. Reflecting the aspirations of Apeejay Education, the finale paid tribute to Dr Stya Paul’s ideals and brought the celebration to a close.
Through these presentations, students revisited a legacy built on perseverance, education and human values.
