The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released the examination forms for private candidates. Students who want to appear for the Class 10th and 12th board examination in 2027 can fill the form. The official website is cbse.gov.in.

All the Class 10 and 12 students who could not pass the CBSE board exams in 2026 or want to improve their marks can apply for the upcoming CBSE board exams 2027. The Board will accept applications only online through the above-mentioned portal.

According to the CBSE notice, the last date to apply for the exams through the regular application window is announced as October 23.

If a student misses the regular deadline, they can still apply for the exam. Applications beyond the deadline will be accepted from October 24 to October 31. Students applying late must pay a late fee of Rs 2000 in addition to the regular examination fees.

As per media reports, CBSE is expected to release the CBSE Class 10th, 12th date sheet 2027 this month. The board has not officially confirmed this yet.

Examination fees

CBSE will charge separate fees for theory and practical exams. For theory exams, an Indian student must pay Rs 320 per subject, a student from Nepal must pay Rs 1100 per subject, and a foreign student enrolled in CBSE must pay Rs 2200 per subject.

For practical fees, an Indian student must pay Rs 160 per subject, a Nepal-based student must pay Rs 175 per subject and a foreign student must pay Rs 375 per subject.

The board stated in its notice that the details of students who appeared for the board exams in 2026 will be auto-fetched and visible to them when submitting the form.

The board has warned candidates against making wrong entries, giving false statements, or producing fake documents, as this will result in form rejection and forfeiture of the fee paid.
