Students of Class 7 C at Apeejay School, Noida, conducted a meaningful morning assembly on the theme ‘Tiny Habits, Big Changes,’. The event shows how small, consistent actions can lead to positive and lasting change.

The assembly was built around a simple idea that big transformations rarely happen overnight, and everyday choices add up over time. Through a mix of presentations and performances, the students encouraged their peers to think about the habits they follow each day and how those habits shape their growth, health, and attitude towards learning.

The programme began with the thought of the day, which set the tone for the morning. It was followed by a news segment, in which students presented the day’s headlines in the style of a bulletin. A poem on the theme added a creative touch, putting the message across in a simple way that younger students could relate to.

A short talk by a student then explored how small steps, such as being punctual, staying organised, reading regularly, or helping others, can gradually become strong habits that lead to larger achievements. The talk reminded listeners that effort sustained over time often matters more than a single dramatic push.

To keep the audience involved, the class also held an interactive quiz that tested students’ understanding of habit-building and positive routines. A video presentation then reinforced the message with visual examples of how minor daily changes can bring about meaningful improvement in a person’s life.

The assembly encouraged students to reflect on their own routines and to consider which small changes they could begin making right away. Teachers noted that assemblies of this kind give students an opportunity to develop confidence, public speaking skills, and teamwork while exploring themes that matter to their everyday lives.

The programme concluded on an inspiring note, motivating students to embrace small changes and make them part of their daily routine. By the end of the assembly, the audience had received a clear message that progress does not always require grand gestures, and a few small habits, practised with consistency, can bring about big changes.

With this assembly, Class 7 C of Apeejay School, Noida, showed how classroom learning and everyday values can come together in a simple, relatable message for the whole school community.
