The National Testing Agency (NTA) is all set to conduct the NEET-UG 2026 re-examination on June 21 from 2:00 PM to 5:15 PM, with more than 22 lakh medical aspirants expected to appear for one of India’s largest entrance exams. Fresh admit cards have been released on the official website, urging candidates to download the latest version and verify their examination centre details, as some venues have been revised.

The admit card contains important information, including the reporting time, centre address, candidate particulars, and exam-day instructions. Ahead of the exam, the Supreme Court declined petitions seeking a stay or postponement of the re-test, thereby clearing the way for the exam to proceed as scheduled. Following the verdict, NTA advised students to focus on final preparations and complete all mandatory formalities in advance.

To ensure transparency and prevent the spread of misinformation, authorities have strengthened security measures. Telegram access will remain restricted until June 22, and the platform’s edit feature will remain disabled until June 30. NTA has also launched a dedicated portal where students, parents, coaching institutes, and members of the public can report suspicious claims or alleged fraudulent activities related to the exam.

In response to student feedback, the exam body has introduced changes to the question booklet format, including two additional rough-work pages. Candidates will also receive an extra 15 minutes, primarily for attendance, biometric verification, and document-checking procedures.

NTA has reiterated that claims regarding question paper leaks are false and urged aspirants to rely solely on official updates. Candidates must strictly follow the prescribed dress code, carry all required documents, and reach their centres well before gate-closing time to avoid last-minute inconvenience.

With extensive security arrangements and revised exam protocols in place, the NTA aims to ensure the smooth, fair, and transparent conduct of the NEET-UG 2026 re-exam.
