Recently, Apeejay School, Model Town, turned an ordinary school day into an extraordinary one with its lively ‘Bagless Day’ celebration for students of Classes I and II. The event was planned to let children unwind, bond, and enjoy the spirit of carefree childhood. True to its name, students arrived without their school bags, setting the tone for a fun-filled and memorable day.
The day began with the screening of the animated classic The Jungle Book. Wide-eyed with excitement, the young audience was captivated by the adventures of Mowgli and his jungle friends. The film entertained and subtly conveyed values of friendship, bravery, and harmony with nature — lessons that resonated with the young minds.
Pool Lunch: A delicious bonding moment
Following the movie, it was time to dig into a delicious ‘pool lunch’ — a shared meal where students brought their favourite home-cooked dishes.
