Shivansh Goswami, a bright and enthusiastic student at Apeejay School, Noida, has recently been promoted to Class 1. In a heartfelt conversation with his mother, Ms. Sunandini Goswami, we explore his journey so far—his love for learning, active participation in extracurriculars, and growing confidence as a speaker. She shares how the school has nurtured his development, making him an organised, social, and happy child eager to embrace new challenges.

Ms. Goswami, Shivansh has been with Apeejay School, Noida, since nursery. How has his journey been so far?
It has been absolutely delightful! The whole experience has been wonderful—he loves going to school every day, adores his teachers, and enjoys every activity. Seeing him so eager to learn and participate makes me really happy as a parent.

What role have his teachers played in his growth?
A huge role! His teachers have been incredibly warm and nurturing. They’ve not only helped him grasp concepts but also instilled confidence in him. Thanks to them, he can now read and write in English and Hindi. The credit for his learning goes entirely to his teachers.

Does Shivansh have any favorite subjects yet?
It’s a little early to say, but he enjoys everything! Be it music, dance, English, or Hindi—he is always excited to learn.

We heard he is a budding all-rounder, super active in extracurricular activities?

Oh yes! He participates in almost everything—annual functions, school carnivals, and various events. He is an extremely active child.

What about sports? Any particular interests?
Yes, he has been involved in sports since nursery. He trains for football too and he absolutely loves it!

How has he evolved over these two years at Apeejay?

He has become more organized, social, and confident. He is a natural public speaker and has developed a great stage presence. He’s already been giving speeches at school events.

Have you had a chance to interact with the new principal?

Yes, she has such a charming personality! What really stood out to me is that she personally greets the children every morning. It’s a simple yet wonderful gesture that makes the kids feel welcomed and valued.

As a parent, you seem very happy with your decision to enroll Shivansh at Apeejay Noida?
Absolutely! The school has provided a fantastic environment for his overall development. So far, so good! I was sure about Apeejay Noida when we were searching for a school. I worked for Times of India for 15 years and the school was always a top ranker in the Times Education Survey. So, the school is a hallmark of quality education and I am glad to enroll my child here
