‘The caring environment helped my daughter feel comfortable’
A parent of Apeejay School, Greater Noida, shares how the school gives equal importance to learning and enjoyment
The first impression of this school was very positive for this parent. She chose it because of its caring environment. She had also heard good things about the school from people in her society. The teachers are cooperative, and they make the children feel comfortable. Meet Priyanka Garg, whose daughter, Divyanka, is in the nursery at Apeejay School, Greater Noida.

And the best thing is that the school tries to cover everything a child needs to learn. It gives equal importance to learning and enjoyment, so the children learn while having fun.
How has your daughter adjusted to the nursery environment?
She has adjusted very positively to the nursery environment. She feels comfortable and is doing very well. She did not face any major problems because the teachers were very cooperative. Her class teacher is supportive and caring, which helped her feel comfortable. She has also learnt many positive things here.
What changes have you noticed in her since she joined the school?
I have noticed positive changes in her confidence, communication skills, and learning. She has become much more confident since joining the school. She has learnt many new words through the different activities conducted at school. She uses those words at home as well. I think that is a very good thing. Overall, the school has had a very positive influence on her.
Does she talk about her school experiences when she comes home?
Yes, she talks about her teachers and the activities she does at school. She enjoys her playtime and classroom activities and shares with me the new things she has learnt. She especially enjoys activities involving water. She learnt how to make a paper boat at school and float it in the water. She enjoys doing the same activity at home, particularly when it rains.
How have the teachers supported her learning and emotional well-being?
Her class teacher is very supportive, caring, and friendly. Because of her teacher’s friendly nature, my daughter feels comfortable and is always excited to go to school. Whenever she comes home, she tells me about the activities they performed in class and often wants to do them again with me.
