His fondest memories revolve around the vibrant environment both inside and outside the classroom at Apeejay School, Panchsheel Park. From engaging in interactive lessons in well-equipped classrooms and labs to participating in sports and cultural events on the sprawling grounds, the school was always dynamic. Above all, he treasures the guidance of his teachers, whose warmth, encouragement, and belief in his potential made learning a joyful journey and laid a strong foundation for his personal growth.
Meet Varun Mathur, whose daughter, Unnati, is also studying in this school. Here’s what this alumnus-parent had to say about this school…
How does it feel to return to the same school as a parent?
It is a deeply emotional and full-circle moment. Walking through the gates as a parent brings back a rush of nostalgia, but it also instills a profound sense of trust and reassurance. Seeing the familiar warmth of the school community combined with modern, upgraded facilities gives me immense confidence that my child is in the best possible hands.

What encouraged you to choose your alma mater for your child’s early education?
My decision was rooted in firsthand experience. Having experienced the supportive faculty, strong value system, and excellent infrastructure as a student, I knew this environment nurtured well-rounded individuals. I wanted my child to benefit from the same holistic culture, strong academic foundation, and caring mentorship that shaped my development.
Which values or lessons from your school years continue to influence you today?
The core values of discipline, empathy, resilience, and curiosity have stayed with me into adulthood. My teachers taught us to strive for excellence while remaining grounded and collaborative. That blend of academic rigour, integrity, and mutual respect continues to guide my professional career and personal life every day.
In what ways has the school changed since your time, and what still feels familiar?
The school has evolved impressively, incorporating modern technology, updated sports amenities, and contemporary learning methodologies to stay ahead of the times. However, the heart of the institution remains unchanged—the genuine warmth of the educators, the spirit of inclusivity, and the foundational values that prioritise student growth and well-being.
What kind of learning experience do you hope your child will have?
I hope my child experiences an environment where curiosity is celebrated, questions are encouraged, and learning is an adventure rather than a task. With the school’s supportive faculty and top-notch facilities, I look forward to seeing my child build confidence, discover unique passions, and form lifelong friendships just as I did.
What would you like to tell other alumni considering the school for their children?
Choosing your alma mater is one of the most rewarding decisions you can make. The school seamlessly blends its rich legacy and strong moral compass with modern education and excellent infrastructure. Returning as a parent gives you complete peace of mind, knowing your child is being guided by dedicated educators who care for their growth as much as you do.
