World Computer Literacy Day, celebrated annually on December 2, aims to foster awareness and promote digital education globally. Initiated in 2001 by the National Institute of Information Technology (NIIT), the day underscores the transformative power of technology in personal and professional domains.

The 2024 theme, Empowering Generations Through Digital Literacy, highlights the importance of equipping individuals across all age groups with the skills to navigate the digital landscape effectively. From children to senior citizens, the focus is on inclusive education to reduce the generational and socio-economic digital divide.
