1 year agoon

The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has officially launched the registration for the first round of NEET PG counselling. Aspiring candidates can access the application process via the MCC’s website, mcc.nic.in. It’s crucial for candidates to submit only one application; submitting multiple forms will lead to disqualification, and the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) under DGHS, MoHFW will take appropriate action, including cancelling the candidate’s application.
As part of the process, the MCC has also issued new guidelines on obtaining PwD certificates and procedures for changing nationality status from Indian to NRI. These updates are essential for candidates who fall into these categories, ensuring that they follow the correct procedures to avoid any issues during the counselling process.
The NEET PG counselling is divided into three main rounds: AIQ Round 1, AIQ Round 2, and AIQ Round 3. Following these, a stray vacancy round will be conducted to fill any remaining seats. Each round will provide an opportunity for candidates to secure a seat in their desired postgraduate medical program, depending on their performance and the availability of seats.
To participate in the counselling, candidates must complete the registration process, which involves paying both a non-refundable registration fee and a refundable security deposit. The security deposit is returned to the account used for payment, provided the candidate follows all the counselling procedures correctly. It’s crucial for candidates to adhere to the timeline and requirements specified by the MCC to ensure a smooth counselling experience.
The detailed schedule for NEET PG counselling is expected to be published soon on the MCC website. Candidates are encouraged to regularly check the website for updates and ensure they meet all the deadlines to avoid missing out on this crucial step in their medical career journey.
