The Teachers’ Day is a cherished occasion celebrated in schools across India to honour the invaluable contributions of educators in shaping young minds. It is a day dedicated to acknowledging the dedication, hard work, and commitment of teachers who play a pivotal role in nurturing the next generation. Celebrating Teacher’s Day in schools helps instil a sense of respect and gratitude among students for their mentors, fostering a deeper understanding of the importance of education and the impact teachers have on their lives.
In a vibrant display of appreciation, the students of Apeejay School, Rama Mandi, Jalandhar, celebrated Teachers’ Day with great enthusiasm and warmth. The celebration was a heartfelt tribute to the educators for their continuous efforts and contributions to the growth and development of their students.

The event commenced with the auspicious lamp-lighting ceremony, symbolising knowledge and wisdom, followed by a soulful prayer that set a reverent tone for the day. Students paid homage to Dr Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, an eminent scholar, philosopher, esteemed teacher, and former President of India, who believed in the transformative power of education. His life and legacy were remembered with respect and admiration for his lasting impact on the field of education.
Mrs Sushma Paul Berlia, Chairman, Apeejay Stya & Svran Group, Chancellor Apeejay Stya University, and Chairman, Apeejay Education, on this occasion shared a special Teachers’ Day message which was read out at the event.
Dear Teachers,
I wish you all a very Happy Teachers’ Day!
For us, this day is really very special, as the role of teachers in an education institution is paramount. Also, it is an occasion to acknowledge the contribution of teachers in shaping up the youth and the nation, throughout the year.

I would like to commend you all on your excellent work. I am sure that the new challenges that beckon us would be met by you with the same resilience, dedication and determination which you have always demonstrated.
Value-based education including human values continues to be the cornerstone of all Apeejay Education Institutions. The overarching goal is to bring about harmony in the physical, socio-emotional, intellectual, and spiritual development of the students. Our campuses not only inculcate a love for learning but encourage an entire way of life rooted in values and wellness, while also keeping abreast with emerging technologies and 21st-century learning. In tune with NEP, our endeavour is to make education more experiential, stress-free, and joyful.
Our motto ‘Soaring High is My Nature’ exemplifies the fact that we should never rest on our laurels, as the pursuit of excellence is a never-ending quest, and there are always new skies to conquer.
I am sure that as educators, we are conscious and mindful of the new realities in relevant emerging domains so that our institutions scale many more peaks of success in the years to come.

A series of captivating performances by students marked the celebration. They enacted thoughtful skits, delivered engaging speeches, and recited heartfelt poems, each performance highlighting the unique and nurturing bond between teachers and students. A PowerPoint Presentation further showcased the essence of this relationship, drawing admiration and applause from the audience.









The grand finale was a mesmerising bhangra performance that added a joyous and energetic touch to the celebrations, leaving the audience spellbound Mr AK Sharma, the Principal of the school extended his congratulations to the teachers and commended them for their unwavering dedication to shaping young minds.
Mr Sharma encouraged everyone to continue their noble mission with passion and perseverance, reminding them of the profound impact they have on the future of their students. Overall, the celebration was a testament to the deep respect and love the students have for their teachers, making it a memorable day for all.
