Teachers play a crucial role in supporting students in various ways throughout their educational journey. “The staff here encourages students to participate in extracurricular activities, helping them develop skills beyond academics, such as teamwork, leadership, and time management,” shares Dipa Sengupta whose daughter Ruhi studies in class VII at Apeejay SchoolKharghar

Read on to learn how teachers here use different teaching methods to cater to diverse learning styles.

Why did you choose Apeejay for admission?

While choosing a school for my child we concentrated on a CBSE school which was in our vicinity to save commuting time. While surfing the Internet we came across Apeejay as one of the top schools; the school was also highly recommended by our friends whose kids studied there.

How are the teachers here?

The teachers here are very approachable and encouraging. They are very impartial. They do their best to make the subject interesting and easy to understand. They prepare worksheets based on the chapter taught so that students can become more thorough with the concept. Activities are done along with the chapters for better understanding.

How are the school infrastructure and facilities?

The good thing about the school is that it is surrounded by greenery and a huge playground. It has CCTV facilities in every classroom and corridor to ensure the safety and monitoring of the students. Awakened Citizen Program (ACP) classes are held every week to instil moral values in students which is very much needed in today’s society.

Which extracurricular activities does Ruhi enjoy at school?

The school hosts a lot of extracurricular activities every session. Ruhi loves to participate in almost everything including drawing, extempore, music, quizzes, skits, special assemblies and Olympiads. She likes to participate in the special interest club activities.

How has Ruhi’s journey been at school so far?

My daughter’s journey in Apeejay School, Kharghar began from the nursery. She enjoys every moment of her school time. Since there is a lot of activity-based learning in Apeejay, she has become more confident and skilled with her stage performances and public speaking.

Do you feel Apeejay is like a second home for your child?
Yes, Apeejay is like a second home for my child. She spends a lot of time in school doing things she enjoys. She loves to read different books during the library period. She has a lot of friends at school with whom she likes to play and have fun. The teachers also make her feel comfortable.

Are you happy and satisfied as a parent?

As a parent when I see my child progressing not only with her academics but also with her holistic development I too feel happy and satisfied.
