Apeejay Newsroom recently had the pleasure of speaking with the mother of Jitika Takkar, a student in the 1st grade at Apeejay School, Panchsheel Park. During our telephonic conversation, she shared her experiences and insights about the school.

Read edited excerpts:

Why did you choose Apeejay School for Jitika?
We chose Apeejay because we heard it’s a very nice school where academics and sports are given equal importance. We saw a few children excelling in both areas, and that convinced us to choose Apeejay for Jitika.

How have the teachers at Apeejay been so far?
The teachers are very nice at Apeejay. Jitika is now in 1st standard, and even her nursery teacher was very good. We are really happy with the teachers and the way they handle the kids.

How do you feel about the sports activities at the school?
I’m really happy with the sports activities. Jitika has joined the Sports Guru program, which includes various activities like sack race and skating. She enjoys them a lot and always comes home excited to tell me about her day.

How has Jitika’s personality developed since joining Apeejay?
Jitika has improved a lot in terms of personality development. She’s become more confident and has improved in speaking and other activities. The school offers more than 80 activities, which is amazing and helps in overall development.

What is your opinion on the involvement of parents in school activities?
Apeejay involves parents regularly, which I appreciate. They invite us to functions like graduation day and keep regular PTMs. It helps us stay connected with our child’s progress and the school’s activities.

Can you share any specific incident that reflects the school’s attention to personal hygiene?
Recently, there was an incident where Jitika needed a change of clothes. The school immediately contacted me, and I was able to bring her fresh clothes. This shows the school’s promptness and care regarding personal hygiene.

Overall, how do you feel about Jitika’s progress and experience at Apeejay?
I am very happy with Jitika’s progress. She is becoming more confident and active each day. Whether it’s academics, sports, or personality development, she’s doing well in all areas thanks to Apeejay.
