There are many seasons in the year but my favorite season is summer. I like the summer season as we can drink or eat cold items like ice cream, shakes, juices, etc. We can also switch on the air conditioner and just relax on the bed.
We can also enjoy swimming in summer, we can go to the play area inside the mall but in winter it is very cold outside so we can barely go to play. It is very hot temperature outside in summer. The days are longer and the nights are short. The summer season starts in March and ends in the month of July. We can also go to different countries in the summer holidays. In the summer vacation we also get some holiday homework which makes our summer vacation busy.

To make our summer vacation more interesting the school organizes summer camp and many more competitions in which we can enroll and we can win amazing prizes and do fun sitting at home. We wear cotton clothes in this season. It is the hottest season of the year. We can eat many types of fruits and vegetables also. Many trees, plants, and flowers become dull in this season due to excessive heat. It is the time to relax at home. It is the longest season of the year. It is a time of sunshine and heat waves. There are many festivals in the summer season like Mahavir Jayanti, Ram Navami etc. The Summer Olympics games are also hosted during this season. In some parts of the world, summer may be associated with massive heat strokes. The summer season begins in April in the northern hemisphere and in December in the southern hemisphere across the world. It is important to stay hydrated and protect ourselves from the bright sun rays. The temperature decreases only after rain in July or June. The summer season is an important season of the year. The summer season falls between spring and autumn. The name summer comes from the old English word sumor, which means the season of heat and draught. In the northern hemisphere, it typically lasts from June to August while in the southern hemisphere, it runs from December to February. Farmers have to harvest their crops; kids are out of school and families often take their annual vacation during this time of year.
Despite its reputation as a time of lazy days and long vacations, summer can actually be a pretty busy season for many people. At the end, I would like to share a poem on this season as
“Summer Summer! How you dare to bring the scorching waves along;
Little children struggle with it to beat the sunny heat though;
Sometimes they eat ice-cream/milkshakes to get some chill along;
And playing indoors under the air-conditioner to get some thrill along.”
