Delhi government extends winter break for students 

Delhi Education Minister Atishi Marlena informs schools in Delhi will remain closed for the coming five days owing to the prevailing cold weather conditions in the national capital. 

The minister announced this via a post on X, formerly Twitter, “Schools in Delhi will remain closed for the next five days due to the prevailing cold weather conditions, for students from nursery to Class 5.”

As per the India Meteorological Department (IMD), cold to severe cold conditions are likely to continue over Delhi, Punjab, Haryana, and Rajasthan, and a significant decrease thereafter.
