‘The school’s initiatives have boosted my daughter’s confidence and social skills’

Apeejay Newsroom had the pleasure of speaking with Mr Mukesh Das, who shared his insights and experiences regarding Shivanshi’s journey, who is studying in class Senior KG at Apeejay School, Kharghar. Read edited excerpts:

How has Shivanshi’s experience been at Apeejay so far?

Despite joining the school late due to some emergency situation, Shivanshi was warmly welcomed and quickly adapted to the school environment, thanks to the exceptional teachers. Her first teacher, Priyanka Ma’am, played a significant role to make her feel comfortable while adjusting during Junior KG.

How supportive has the school been during the time of difficulties?

The school demonstrated tremendous support when Shivanshi wasn’t able to attend the school, allowing her to take a break for several months. They prioritised her health and ensured a smooth transition when she felt better. With the help of Basa Ma’am, special precautions were taken, reflecting the school’s commitment to student care.

Can you share Shivanshi’s progress at Apeejay so far?

Shivanshi was born in 2019 and after that COVID hit. So, we were worried how she would pick up on social skills. But she has made significant progress in terms of discipline and communication. The school’s initiatives, such as engaging programmes and encouraging participation in all kinds of activities, have boosted her confidence and social skills significantly.

How do you perceive the attention and care given to students by the Apeejay teachers?

I believe every child receives ample attention from the dedicated teachers, regardless of their academic performance. The teachers exhibit genuine care and support for each student, fostering a nurturing environment conducive to learning.

What are your thoughts on the overall quality of education provided by the Apeejay Kharghar?

I am thoroughly impressed by the quality of education and the calibre of teachers at Apeejay. The pre-primary teachers, in particular, have been exceptional in nurturing young minds and laying a strong foundation for learning.

As a parent, how satisfied are you with Shivanshi’s academic progress?

As long as the teachers assure me of Shivanshi’s progress, I am content. Their feedback is invaluable, and I trust their assessment of her development and academic performance.
