A fun yet educational celebration for World Health Day took place recently at Apeejay Stya University (ASU), Gurgram. Members of the National Service Scheme (NSS) in collaboration with the School of Education at ASU gathered for an exciting Poster Making and Slogan Writing competition. The aim was to spread the word about health rights and public health issues, all while unleashing their creativity.

Under the theme “My Health, My Right,” students from different departments joined in eagerly. They had to make posters and write slogans that were not just creative but also meaningful. Prof. (Dr.) Ananda Padhan, Head of the School of Education, carefully judged the entries based on things like how original they were and if they got across the message well.

Appreciating the efforts of all the participants, Dr. Vijay Kumar, Programme Coordinator, NSS, ASU, expressed, “NSS at ASU extends a big thank you to Prof. (Dr.) Ananda Padhan for his help in making the event a success. The competition not only showed how talented our students are but also helped them understand more about health rights. It was a great way to bring everyone together and remind us all how important health awareness is, especially in schools.”
