It’s no mean feat for these two students to be counted as scholastic achievers. Meet Rayaan Singh Sahni and Kushal Gupta. Both these wonder boys are now gearing up enthusiastically for the new session to begin soon. Both have been promoted to class V in Apeejay School, Mahavir Marg now.

While Rayaan expected a good score owing to the hard work he pooled in, Kushal on the other hand believed his sincerity had paid off ultimately. So what is the best thing about school? “I enjoy everything about school. The teachers are nice. I enjoy playing with my friends,” said Rayaan.

The 10-year-old Rayaan mentions his favourite hobbies are chess and football. While Kushal is devoted to drawing. “I especially love drawing cars. My favourite car is the Toyota Supra,” expresses Kushal.

English is the favourite subject of Rayaan since he believes it was the first language he learnt at school. Kushal, on the other hand, shares his daily routine which also includes going for badminton and swimming. “I have just started learning these sports and it’s one of the best ways to spend my evenings,” expresses Kushal.

Kushal calls his parents his biggest role model. It is Neelam ma’am who is the biggest role model for Rayaan. “Neelam ma’am used to teach Hindi and is a very kind and sweet teacher,” shares Rayaan.

So what is your favourite activity? “I love to build Legos and can stay busy with it for the whole day,” quips Rayaan.

And what does your typical day look like? “I start my day as early as 6 am and go to school. After coming back, I finish my lunch and then go out to play with my friends in the evening. Post dinner I sleep maximum by 10 pm. My parents help me to study at home and my teachers at the school,” shares Kushal.

Though that’s not all, I would like to add in conclusion that Batman is my favourite superhero. “I adore him and find him as the coolest superhero,” expresses Rayaan.
