Leadership is not about a title or a designation; it is about impact, influence, and inspiration. Keeping this powerful thought in mind, Apeejay School, Charkhi Dadri, held its Investiture Ceremony for the academic session 2026-27. The event marked a proud and momentous occasion in the school calendar. The occasion was conducted with great enthusiasm and dignity, celebrating the emergence of young leaders ready to shoulder responsibility.

The ceremony began with a warm welcome extended to the parents, whose gracious presence added pride and significance to the occasion. The campus buzzed with excitement as the newly elected members of the Prefectorial Board assembled, reflecting a spirit of commitment and readiness to lead.

A structured system of four houses, Gautam House, Kabir House, Nanak House, and Vivekananda House, continues to form the foundation of the school’s co-curricular framework. Student leaders representing each house were formally appointed and adorned with badges and sashes, symbolising the trust and responsibility bestowed upon them.

A defining moment of the ceremony was the oath-taking pledge. The newly appointed leaders solemnly vowed to uphold the values of the institution and discharge their duties with sincerity, discipline, and integrity. The pledge instilled a deep sense of accountability and inspired the students to lead by example.

Addressing the gathering, the school Principal, Dr Vineet Vasishtha, congratulated the student leaders and encouraged them to embrace their roles with confidence and compassion.

“It gives me immense pleasure to witness the Investiture Ceremony for the new session 2026-27. The appointment of our Prefectorial Board reflects our trust in the abilities of our students. I congratulate all the young leaders and encourage them to uphold the values of discipline, integrity, and dedication. Leadership is a responsibility that shapes character, and I am confident that each one of you will serve as an inspiration to others and contribute meaningfully to the school community,” Dr Vasishtha said.

Parents, visibly proud, shared in the joy of the occasion as they witnessed their children step into roles of leadership. Their presence brought warmth and encouragement, making the ceremony even more meaningful.

The event concluded on a patriotic note with the National Anthem, fostering a sense of unity and pride among all present. The ceremony was followed by refreshments, offering an opportunity for parents and staff to celebrate the achievement of the young leaders.

The Investiture Ceremony 2026-27 at Apeejay School, Charkhi Dadri, stood as a testament to the school’s commitment to nurturing leadership qualities and empowering students to become responsible and inspiring individuals, the true torchbearers of society.
