This tiny tot from Apeejay School, Nerul was felicitated with accolades during the Annual Appreciation Day held recently. Meet Aveer Gupta who wants perfection as his second name. In a candid interview, this four-year-old shares his plans with much anticipation.

Tell us about your recent achievements.

I participated in three events: Clay Modelling, a Dance Competition and a Fancy Dress Competition. I won first prize in the Clay Modelling and Fancy Dress Competition and third prize in the Dance Competition. I felt so happy to receive all the prizes at the Annual Day that the school had organised.

What did you prepare for all the events?

For the Fancy Dress Competition, I depicted a Chinese Dragon that symbolises virtues like strength, unity and power. For the Clay Modelling event, I made a Ganpati who was driving a bike; the bike was in the shape of a mouse. Finally, for the Dance Competition, I presented myself as Hanumanji dancing around with all the props.

How was your experience with the same?

It was a nice learning experience for me. I even realised my hidden talents and inclination for such creative outlets in me. These competitions helped me tap into another different potential in me. I am also thankful to the teachers for helping and supporting me throughout.

What are your dreams and ambitions in life?

I am very fascinated by the working of police and guns and saving the lives of innocent people. So I want to become a police officer someday. The second option is, I want to be a pilot and fly an aircraft someday.

What is your favourite food?

I love pure Indian food, my favourites are chapati, dal- chawal. I also like to eat pizza and all kinds of desi sweets are my weakness.

What is your school routine like?

I wake up by 7 am daily, prepare and get ready for school. I come back from school, eat my lunch around 1 pm, and take a nap. Then I go out to play bat and ball with my friends. Coming back home, I have dinner and sleep. In between I also find time to revise my subjects and finish my homework.

Who was your inspiration for all the preparation?

My mother is my biggest inspiration. It is only her efforts that have gone into every preparation. I recall sitting down with her and doing all the research work to decide about what to do at all the competitions.
