Dev Suri is a class 11 non-medical student at Apeejay School, Faridabad, Sector 15. The youngster is doing well at school and why would he not. Afterall, he is following in his father’s footsteps, who is also an alumnus of the school having studied the same stream. The proud father Mr Harish Suri chats with the Newsroom team in a quick interview and shares his son’s progress so far. Read edited excerpts:

Does Dev have a fixed career aim in mind?

My son’s interests lie in electronics and software development. He is still figuring out what to pick.

Are the teachers grooming the students well?

Absolutely! Suman ma’am, his class teacher, is a great educator. I have interacted with her a few times and I have observed that she is always there to support every student.

How satisfied are you with the school?

I am very satisfied. I am also an alumnus of this school and I belong to the batch of 1989. I had also taken the non-medical stream. The school provides a perfect environment for learning and overall development.

So your son is following in your footsteps? Which subjects does he like within his stream?

I am trying to share valuable lessons with my son and he is making his own decisions. He is good in Science. The school is taking good care of him.

Any interest in sports and extracurriculars?

He is more into studies. But he does take part in the school’s Annual Day and Meraki fest.
