Finding a suitable school is not an easy task for any parent. With the rising expectations of parents, a wholesome and holistic development of their child stays the top most priority. Meet Dr Avdesh Gupta, father of Paridhi and Anvesha, students of classes XII and X respectively at Apeejay International School, Greater Noida.

In a candid interview, he shares that this Apeejay school never fails to deliver a great nurturing environment to his daughters.

How did Apeejay fulfill all requirements as a school?

Initially when we shifted from Ghaziabad to Noida, we started looking for a school that symbolises India’s traditional ethos. The cultural values that the school upholds was of prime importance to us. I noticed that Apeejay is specifically focused on holistic growth of the student. I also received positive feedback about the school from several sources. After watching my two daughters doing so well I have deep gratitude for Apeejay’s management and fraternity for delivering a good education system.

How is your daughter coping up with the upcoming Board exam?

My elder daughter Paridhi has been an outstanding student in academics since the beginning and has received scholar badges for her good performance in exams for the past six years. Apart from that she has also received the prestigious Dr Stya Paul Award for Human Values. She is quite a good student holistically so I am sure she will surely fare well in her Board exams, though we do counsel her on a timely basis to avoid any undue stress. I would also like to extend a special mention to the teachers who have nurtured both my daughters well so far.

Are the teachers updating you about the performance of your daughters?

Absolutely. The teachers have always been very supportive and easy to approach since the start. They have been particularly taking care of the performance by sharing assessment reports periodically so that we can together figure out the weak areas and work extensively for that. I feel that the teachers have done wonderfully in nurturing both my daughters overall – academically and culturally.

What are the positive changes you have seen in your daughters?

The school has boosted a great amount of positivity and confidence in both my daughters. I recall the time when both children got admitted into the school and eventually they got involved into a lot of activities that helped them imbibe sound communication and leadership skills. One of my daughters was actively involved in the student exchange programme organised by the school in the US. Both my daughters have received a lot of opportunities from the school to develop their calibre and potential.

How do you feel the education system has changed over the years?

The entire ecosystem of education has changed compared to the time when I was studying. Nowadays the teaching pedagogies and the methodologies have evolved. The education system today is more skill-based and focuses more on wholesome growth and development of the child. Speaking about the structure of education in Apeejay, I am fully satisfied with the quality of education provided by the school. The school definitely boasts of top class capability and credibility in the market.
