For a kindergarten (KG) child, school often functions as a second home for several reasons, creating a nurturing and supportive environment that mirrors the comfort and care of their primary home. The teachers here often take on a caregiving role, offering emotional support, guidance, and affection, much like parents and provide educational experiences and learning opportunities that support a child’s intellectual and emotional growth,” expresses Monika Rawat whose son Mishay studies in LKG at Apeejay Svran Global School, Faridabad.

Why did you choose Apeejay for your child?
The main reason is the proximity of this school to our residence. Even the school infrastructure and building is built aesthetically and kept clean and well-maintained always. So we happily decided to put my son in this school.
What activities does your son enjoy at school?
My son, Mishay is actively involved in dance and lawn tennis at school. There are activities like nature walks and getting to know your neighbourhood that are organised on a timely basis at school which keeps the child updated about the environment around him.
How are the teachers here?
So far I have not had any issues with the teachers here. In fact they are extremely helpful in making my child settle well at school. Initially Mishay would throw tantrums for going to school, but now is under control and enjoys going to school.
Do you agree that school is the second home for a child?
I agree with this phrase since my son spends the majority of his time at school. I believe that school is a temple of learning and the teachers and other students become like a second family there.
