Mr Khushal Midha is a businessman who holds expertise across domains such as travel, insurance, mutual funds and many more. His wife, Ms Chetna Midha, manages the family-run business along with him. Residents of South Delhi, the couple selected Rhythms Kinderworld in Greater Kailash-II three months ago for their daughter, Tanishka. Sharing more about the child, Ms Midha says, “She is very loving and always wears a smile on her face.” Besides, Tanishka loves to be in the school and since her enrollment, she has become a fast-learner. Read on, as we get to know her better through the following interview. Edited excerpts.

How and when did you select Rhythms Kinderworld?

My husband and I found the school online. After that, we spoke to a few people to get their reviews. Many of them recommended the institution. Then during our first visit to the school, we found someone who my husband knew from before. His child was studying there too! This sped up our decision and we got her in without further ado. Tanishka came to PlaySteps at Rhythms three months ago. Now, she has been promoted to Pre-nursery.

Any features of the school which stood out for you?

Yes. The administrative team showed us around during our visit. The school has a beautiful play area along with colourful classrooms, activity rooms and other amenities, which are available for children. Besides, the staff discussed with us about the curriculum and good practices followed in the institution. Within 10-15 minutes, my husband and I were more than convinced that this is the right place for Tanishka.

I can say that the teachers are doing their best to make my daughter learn. A month ago, at the school’s Annual function, I witnessed my daughter dancing on the stage confidently. She was able to face a large crowd with great aplomb. Honestly, I was stunned! I didn’t know that she could dance and do that so well! I am sure that the educators are bringing out the best in her. Their efforts are truly commendable!

Does Tanishka return home from school and interact with you about her day?

Yes. Prior to her admission in the school, she wasn’t really vocal. But I am happy that now she communicates her views with me. She is quite comfortable sharing her day as well. Each day she returns from school, she tries to update me with every detail possible. *chuckles*

Please share some of her developmental milestones.

Besides her communication abilities which have grown manifold in the school, she is quite comfortable with her lessons and rhymes. She sings them with me too. Her creativity has also enhanced.

Do you urge her to study at home too?

Sometimes, I do. She mostly enjoys her time at home and plays with her grandfather. She is very fond of him. Apart from this, she is a single child so she gets a lot of attention at home. It makes her very happy.

Would you recommend the school to others?

Absolutely! Tanishka loves her teachers and often speaks about them in the house. Her class teacher, Ms Aditi, has made her feel very much at ease. Alongside, the atmosphere of the school is truly healthy, nurturing and ideal. I hope that she can continue her educational pursuit with a K-12 school under the aegis of Apeejay Education.
