The first thing that reassured this parent that she had made the right choice with Apeejay Rhythms Kinderworld, GK-II, was that within two weeks her son had settled in comfortably. “My son, Nivaan, did not feel at ease on the first day, but he had settled in comfortably in two weeks! What reassured me was how patiently and warmly the teachers supported him during this transition, making those early days smooth for both him and us,” shares Anushree Jain.

In an impromptu interview, the parent sums you her son’s journey here eloquently.

How has the school helped your child discover new interests or talents?

Through its variety of activities, from creative art to sensory play, the school has nurtured his interest in colours and painting. He enjoys exploring different shades and creating artwork during class activities.

Which school activity or project has sparked the most excitement for your child at home?

The music and movement activities are his absolute favourite. When we play the same music at home, he eagerly does the steps he has learned at school — it’s lovely to see that connection between school and home.

How do you see the teachers building a connection with your child beyond academics?

The teachers make a genuine effort to know each child’s personality, likes, and even their little quirks. They engage him in conversations, encourage his curiosity, and celebrate his smallest achievements, making him feel valued beyond just academics.

What changes have you noticed in your child’s confidence since joining the school?

He has gone from being shy to becoming a bit more open in expressing himself, especially with familiar faces. His vocabulary has also grown noticeably, and he now enjoys sharing what he learns at school.

How does the school involve you as a parent in your child’s learning and experiences?

From regular updates, open communication, and themed celebrations to opportunities for parents to participate in school events, Apeejay Rhythms ensures we are true partners in our child’s early learning journey.

What is one life skill or habit your child has picked up here that you value most?

The habit of tidying up after activities — whether in the classroom or at home — has been a delightful change. It’s a small but meaningful step toward responsibility and independence.

If you had to sum up your child’s school journey so far in one story, which would you choose?

One fine day, out of the blue, he started chanting the Gayatri Mantra — something we had never actively taught him. It was a delightful surprise and a testament to the diverse and enriching environment he is exposed to at school.
