NCC Wing salutes Air Force heroes with aerial excellence celebration

Apeejay Institute of Management & Engineering Technical Campus, Jalandhar hosts a dynamic PowerPoint competition on the occasion of Air Force Day

In a heartfelt tribute to the valiant heroes safeguarding our skies, the NCC Wing of Apeejay Institute of Management & Engineering Technical Campus (AIMETC) in Jalandhar recently organised an enthralling PowerPoint presentation competition on the topic, “Aerial Excellence Air Force Day Celebration 2023”.

This event provided an exceptional platform to honour the dedicated men and women of the Air Force, simultaneously showcasing the remarkable talents of our youth in the dynamic field of aerospace knowledge and innovation.

Students from various courses including B.Tech, BCA, MCA, MBA, BBA, and B Com participated with enthusiasm. The competition saw each participant demonstrating their aerospace knowledge through captivating presentation skills.

Subhankar and Akansha from B.Tech – AIML Semester- 7 secured the first position, displaying exemplary skills and knowledge. Following closely, Kashish and Simran from B.Tech- CSE Semester-1 bagged the second position, demonstrating their prowess in the aerospace domain.

The event was expertly coordinated by Mr. Rohit Verma, Convenor of the NCC Wing, and Mr. Vikas Kumar, Assistant Professor at the School of Engineering of AIMETC. Student coordinators, Mr. Shobit Kumar B.Tech- CSE Semester- 3, Mr. Piyush B.Tech- CSE Semester- 5, and Mr. Anurag B.Tech- CSE Semester-7, played a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth conduct of the event.

Dr. Rajesh Bagga, the Director of AIMETC, extended his warmest congratulations to the winners and encouraged all students to actively participate in such extra-curricular activities, emphasising their role in overall personal and professional development.

Overall, the event not only honoured the excellence of our Air Force but also highlighted the academic brilliance and innovative spirit of the students.
