‘My daughter has become active since joining this school’

Tiny tots at school are the most loved and adored for by the teachers. Their cute playfulness and mischievous behaviour is a delightful sight to watch. As they prepare to take on the extremities of studies and career ahead, it becomes the school’s prerogative to make this transition a smooth one.

Meet Tina Marwah, mother of Nitara Marwah, studying in Nursery at Apeejay Svran Global School Faridabad who hopes to cherish her daughter’s upcoming 14 year long journey at school with love.

Have you seen any change in your child?

My kid is doing really well at school. Previously she was in a play school and once she started going to Apeejay, I saw a lot of improvement in her speech and vocabulary. She has become enthusiastic to participate in all activities and started to take initiative for many things. Her class teacher has also given me feedback that she is very proactive and curious about new things. She is enjoying her online classes these days since the school is closed due to poor air quality.

How did Apeejay stand out as an admission choice?

When I was looking for an apt school for my daughter, I shortlisted Apeejay as a choice. Meanwhile, our family friend’s child was also studying in the same branch of Apeejay, so we got talking about it, they really praised the school well and then finally we came to the conclusion of sending our daughter to Apeejay. This branch is also nearby our home, so travel wise it’s helpful too.

How often do you interact with your child regarding school?

Since the time she has started to go to school, she has become very active and has developed an outgoing nature. She was always a shy kind of kid but since the time she is participating in activities like yoga, dance and other extracurricular activities at school, her confidence has really boosted up. Even the teachers are always approachable and I can discuss anything related to my child with them easily.

How much do you agree with the adage – school is the second home for a child?

My kid feels really comfortable at school and so far I don’t have any complaints regarding anything. I would like my daughter to continue in the same comforting environment that the school is providing her. The support that is being given to my kid by the class teacher is also reassuring in every sense. Since my child is just in nursery and has spent limited time at school so far, I would like that this same encouraging environment at school should continue.

Any best techniques adopted by teachers at school?

I got to know that my child needs improvement in number formation and few stage activities, so her class teacher took a great initiative by cajoling her to stand up in front of other kids and narrate a poem. I must say that teachers are really helpful and caring and love to nurture kids well at school. This attitude really assured us of our child’s enhancement and development.

Has Apeejay risen to your expectations?

As per my expectations, the school and its staff is distinguishable. I had certain criteria before selecting a school like the facilities it provides, the academic structure, the extracurricular activities it offers and the infrastructure. They have been all fulfilled hand by hand.
