Jalandhar school becomes overall champion at Tech Fest 2023

More than 300 students competed in a variety of events

The students of Apeejay School, Mahavir Marg, made their teachers proud by showcasing diverse talents and clinching the overall champions’ title at a recently held interschool competition.

Organised by Apeejay College of Fine Arts (ACFA), the 10th edition of Tech Fest witnessed participation from 15 schools in Punjab. More than 300 students competed for the winner’s trophies in a variety of competitions.

Being a member school of Apeejay Education, the overall host of Tech Fest, Apeejay Mahavir Marg shared its glory with the runner-up Swami Sant Dass School, Jalandhar.

Apeejay Mahavir Marg students bagged the first prize in App Idea Presentation, Cooking, Programming Skill, Declamation, Play with Clay, Photography, Business Idea Presentation, and Theme-based Modelling. The school won the second prize in Gaming and the third prize in Website Development, Rangoli, and Poster Presentation, respectively.

In Picture Captioning and Gustakhi Maaf, Apeejay Mahavir Marg also won consolation prizes.

Some of the other competitions at Tech Fest comprised General Quiz Bonanza, Group Dance, RJ Hunt, Poetic Recitation, Painting on the Spot, and T-shirt painting /Hand painting.

Dr Hardeep Singh, professor, Department of Computer Science, Guru Nanak Dev University (GNDU), graced the occasion as the chief guest.
