Suman Sharma’s son Mayank is studying in class 2 in Apeejay International School, Greater Noida. After beginning his journey with online classes, he has now started going to school physically and has adapted to its environment with the help of the teachers. In an interview, Suman, a homemaker, talks about how her son has progressed. Edited excerpts:

Why did you opt for Apeejay International School, Greater Noida?

We visited several schools. But I had the most pleasant experience when I went to Apeejay Greater Noida. The principal was very cordial and explained everything to us in detail. We also had a good interaction with some other staff members. That is why we decided to enroll our son here. I also consulted some people and they approved of the choice.

What has the experience been like?

Mayank joined Apeejay in class 1; he had online classes then. It was a very nice experience where the teachers took good care of the children. The teachers kept students engaged and were patient with them. The classes were seamless. Now, he has started attending school physically and is enjoying his time. He has shown good progress.

What kind of relationship has Mayank developed with the teachers? Can he follow the classes properly?

Mayank went to school on the first day of their session. On the second day, however, he was reluctant. But in just a few days I saw a remarkable change in him—he now packs his bag on his own and is quite happy about going to school. The credit solely goes to his teacher who has made him feel very comfortable in class.

Mayank loves and appreciates his teachers a lot. From what he has told me, they teach children very well, using interactive methods, and help them understand all topics clearly.

Have you noticed any improvement in Mayank since he joined Apeejay?

Mayank’s communications skills have improved. He takes a lot of interest in studying and is doing quite well. He is reading and writing comfortably. He also participates in several co-curricular activities.
