Hello everyone, I am Paridhi Bansal. Today, I would like to share with you all how I spend my winter vacations, my favorite time of the year. The winter season is special to me as it brings a cozy feeling, especially wrapped up in blankets. There are numerous activities to indulge in during this time, with the days being short and the sun setting around 4:30 p.m.

My favorite winter activity is sipping hot chocolate milk and enjoying colorful dishes made possible by the abundance of winter vegetables. I love staying bundled up in layers of clothes, even though there’s no snowfall in Jalandhar, where I reside.

Every year, we have winter vacations from January 1st to January 15th, lasting for almost two weeks. I make the most of this time, playing with my cousins, watching horror movies at night, and going cycling early in the morning. Visiting my grandmother’s house to meet my grandparents is also a cherished part of my winter break. I spend my days watching television, playing mobile games, and staying up late during the holidays.

Apart from enjoying myself, I also use this time to learn new things at home, such as cooking different dishes, acquiring basic sewing skills, and improving my organisational abilities. My cousins and I celebrate the new year together, having loads of fun decorating the entire house, donning new clothes, and playing until late at night.

During the first week of my vacation, I explored new places, including meeting relatives. However, on the last day, the reality of schools reopening sets in. The day is spent packing bags, completing homework, and revising for tests scheduled for the next day.

In conclusion, I want to express my love for the winter season and the joy it brings during the vacations. I cherish these moments spent with relatives and cousins, making the most of every opportunity to enjoy and learn.
