The whole world fought the COVID-19 pandemic, a crisis that claimed the lives of many, left some people in critical conditions in hospitals, and put financial strain on families. Job losses became too common, and education shifted to online classes to ensure the continuity of learning. At the beginning of the pandemic, many practices were new to us, such as wearing masks, maintaining social distancing, and working remotely. Initially, there were no vaccines available, and the number of COVID cases continued to rise, but gradually with the availability of vaccines the situation became more stable.

Throughout this challenging time, education providers, including schools and teachers, made remarkable efforts to adapt to online teaching, ensuring that students received the best possible education even during the tough times. The pandemic highlighted the importance of education and the resilience of educators and students.

In the face of the pandemic, numerous individuals and groups came forward to offer their support. Medical professionals, including doctors and nurses, worked tirelessly to save lives, often at great personal risk. Their selflessness and dedication led many to consider them as saviours. Similarly, the police were on the front lines, ensuring public safety and enforcing health guidelines.

Farmers, too, played a crucial role in sustaining the supply of essential goods like vegetables and fruits. The pandemic brought communities closer together as neighbours helped one another, and families spent more time bonding. Despite the challenges, many people maintained a positive attitude, experimenting with new activities like cooking and finding ways to stay upbeat.

In these trying times, we all contributed to to support those in need, whether through donations of money, food, medicine, or essential supplies. Even small gestures of kindness made a significant difference and brought happiness to someone’s life. We expressed our gratitude to all the individuals and groups who extended their support during this pandemic. Thank you for your selflessness and dedication to helping the world overcome this crisis.
