‘Every week there is some personality development event in the school’

Aaratrika Jha is a class 4 student at Apeejay School, Faridabad, Sector 15. She is a bubbly young girl, who loves to talk with her friends in class and is a good runner and badminton player. Additionally, she also has a penchant for debates and poetry recitation. 

Speaking with her father, Mr Shankar Jha, we learn about Aaratrika’s progress at the school and also get a glimpse of the hard work the teachers put in. Read edited excerpts:  

Is Aaratrika enjoying her time at school?

Yes! She is enjoying it a lot. She has made a lot of friends in her class and is learning something new everyday. She loves going to the school and has never refused to go to the school till date. She feels at home there in the class. She is very happy at the school. 

Is the school taking care of her extracurricular development?

Yes, my daughter participates in each and every activity. She loves debate, poetry recitation the most and is always eager to learn more about these fields.  She is also a member of the Interact Club. I am very happy with her progress

Does she like sports?

She often participates in running and badminton events in school. She likes sports. 

And what are her favourite subjects and which one  does she find boring?

She likes Math and English the most amongst all subjects. In other subjects as well, she is gradually improving. 

What about the teacher’s efforts?

It is simply awesome. During the lockdown, we, parents, saw their efforts and how perfectly they executed the online classes. Vandana ma’am, the current class teacher, and Aarti ma’am, the previous class teacher, are brilliant educators. 

So you are quite satisfied with the school staff?

Absolutely! I have no complaints so far. 

What is the best thing about the school?

They take care of developing the communication skills and personality of every child. Every week they organise some event that shapes our child’s persona.
