What memories do you have of Apeejay School, Kharghar?

I completed my schooling in 2015. I was in Apeejay Kharghar right from nursery. What I remember the most are the co-curricular activities I participated in—the teachers always encouraged me. You will find my photo in each of their annual school magazines because I would always participate in some competition or the other and win prizes. I was among the naughty kids in the class and most of the teachers knew me well (laughs). I also enjoyed a very good rapport with the seniors and juniors in the school.

Are you still in touch with your classmates and teachers?

Of course! The group that I hang out with now is that of my school friends.

Were you always interested in joining your family business or did you have other plans?

Yes, I was always interested in entrepreneurship and wanted to join my family business. Since childhood, I was attracted to the idea of leadership. I would usually lead my team in my endeavours.

It is all about the mindset. You must be ready to face the challenges instead of trying to escape them. Only when you face the challenges will you find a solution.
