Education Minister to release NIRF Rankings 2022

Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan is set to release the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) Rankings 2022 on July 15, 2022. The rankings will be announced virtually at 11 am on the official website of Ministry of Education (MoE)

Depending on their areas of operation, institutions will be ranked under 11 different categories – such as teaching, learning and resources, research and professional practice, graduation outcomes, outreach and inclusivity as well as peer perception.

All the parameters contain certain weightages and these vary depending upon the type of institution. The sum total of the weightages will decide the final marks and hence the institutions will be ranked. The methodology draws from the overall recommendations and a broad understanding arrived at by a core committee set up by MoE.
