Aarav Declan Saluja, a bright and lively Class 3 student, has finally found his happy place! His mother, Sarika Rachel Tigga, spills the beans on his journey of adjusting, thriving, and making friends in a fun chat with us.
Moving schools isn’t easy, especially when you’re a young child trying to find your place among new faces. But for Aarav Declan Saluja, the journey from a quiet, reserved boy to an all-rounder excelling in academics and sports at Apeejay School, Noida has been nothing short of a transformation. His mom, Sarika Rachel Tigga, shares his story in a delightful and heartwarming conversation. Read on as she takes us through Aarav’s love for numbers, football, and the one Christmas wish that will melt your heart! Edited excerpts:
Aarav seems to be quite the all-rounder! How’s he doing at school? Oh, he’s doing great! He usually gets A’s in academics and even won third prize in running. He’s a balanced mix — smart in studies and sporty on the field. You can say he’s a little bit of everything!
What subjects and activities excite him the most? Maths is his absolute favourite — he has a very logical mind. But he’s not all numbers and equations; he’s also into football and loves anything creative. If you give him a fun activity, he’s all in!
Adjusting to a new school can be tough. How was his experience at Apeejay Noida? Oh, it was a journey! Aarav has switched schools before, and each time, he struggled a bit to fit in. But at Apeejay Noida, it was different. The teachers and students were very welcoming. His class teacher took extra care of him, making sure he felt at home. And now? He has friends everywhere — in the bus, in class — you name it!
That’s wonderful! But was he nervous about another school change? Absolutely! In fact, his Christmas wish last year was just one thing — ”Please don’t change my school again!” That one sentence spoke volumes. It showed me how much he had struggled before and how happy he is now at Apeejay School, Noida.
As a parent, what’s your take on Apeejay Noida? Honestly, I was a bit hesitant initially because it’s a little far from home. But now, I know I made the right decision. The school isn’t just about academics; the teachers genuinely care about each child. They encourage them, understand their personalities, and make learning a joy. Seeing Aarav flourish here has been the biggest reassurance for me.
