Buzzers On: MBA students participate in marketing quiz contest

At the competition, participants from AIMETC unleash their knowledge on brand names, logos and much more

Marketing Club of Apeejay Institute of Management and Engineering Technical Campus (AIMETC), Jalandhar recently organised a Marketing Quiz, wherein students of MBA, BBA and B.Com (H) participated with full zeal and enthusiasm.

During the quiz, participants unleashed their knowledge on brand names, logos, punch lines, CEOs’, mergers and acquisitions, product line and general marketing news. However, the students had to go through a preliminary round for shortlisting.

The winning team of the quiz included Anamika Sharma, Surbhi Yadav and Sayyam of MBA (IB). Subsequently, Kartik Sharma, Ritesh and Ritideep Kaur of MBA (IA) were in the Runners-up team.

Dr Rajneesh Arya, Faculty at School of Management was the convener and Mr Rahul Handa, Faculty at School of Management was the faculty coordinator.

Ms Aditi Rana, Ms Nishtha Kundra, Ms Sajal Sharma and Mr Saransh Sharma of MBA third year were the Quiz Masters. Meanwhile, Mr Amuljit Singh of MBA third year and Ms Amandeep Kaur of MBA first year were the student coordinators, who handled the stage very effectively.

Dr Rajesh Bagga, Director at AIMETC expressed, “Quizzes are interactive platforms where students are not participating to take home a prize or get famous overnight, but to gain knowledge, seek opportunities to excel beyond academics.”

Lastly, Dr Bagga appreciated the students and their knowledge of different fields of marketing and advertisement. He also congratulated the winners and motivated the students to show more participation in such events organised by the Student Clubs at AIMETC.
