Mr. Sanjeev Bhardwaj, father of AIMETC student Sherry Bhardwaj, mentions the reasons behind her daughter’s exceedingly good performance in the first semester exams
Mr. Sanjeev Bhardwaj is the Vice-President at Marwaha Autos, Jalandhar. His daughter Sherry Bhardwaj is a first semester Master of Business Administration (MBA) student at the Apeejay Institute of Management and Engineering Technical Campus (AIMETC). In an informal interview, Mr. Bhardwaj recounts how the faculty at AIMETC keeps student welfare as its top priority and genuinely understands the concerns of students. Edited excerpts:
Why did you choose AIMETC ahead of other universities for Sherry’s admission?
Actually, she had done her graduation in B.Com from the Apeejay College of Fine Arts, Jalandhar (ACFA). After joining ACFA, there was such a drastic improvement in her studies and IQ level. I was very much impressed with the overall development of a child at an Apeejay institution. The involvement of the college, the academic curriculum and extra-curricular activities are designed to foster a child’s all-round development. So, I developed a faith in the Apeejay education institutions. I was also aware that the placement options are excellent at AIMETC. So, I chose AIMETC for my daughter when it came to her MBA.
Please tell us a bit about Sherry and take us through her progress at AIMETC?
Sherry is not a very outgoing person. She loves to remain at home and spend as much time as possible with her family. She is fond of reading new books. We have two pet dogs, a German shepherd and a Pug, she is occupied with them most of the time. Over the past few years, she has shown a great improvement in academics. At school, she was an average student. But since joining ACFA, she started doing very well in academics and now in her MBA at AIMETC, she is doing exceedingly well. She has scored 8.8 CGPA in the first semester itself.
Are the teachers engaging well with the students?
The faculty is simply commendable. I would especially like to mention Professor Rahul, the class teacher. He is not only an excellent teacher but a wonderful guide as well. I would also like to give special thanks to the director Mr. Rajesh Bagga. Sherry has been facing some health issues since her school days. So it was often the case that she was not able to go regularly to the school. She gave an application for the same to the director at AIMETC. He understood her problem very well and allowed her to take the online classes. Mr. Rajesh Bagga is a very understanding educator.
What is the best thing about AIMETC?
From my personal experience and from the feedback I have received from parents whose children study at AIMETC, I would say the best things about AIMETC are its excellent teachers, great placement opportunities and a good environment for the development of the students.
Now that the campus has reopened, is Sherry excited to return to the campus for offline classes?
Sherry would be attending the offline classes very shortly. She has been recovering very well and her medicinal course is almost over now. Hopefully next week onwards, she will gradually be taking the offline classes.
