Apeejay Svran Global School, Faridabad, Sector 21 D, hosted a special assembly today to celebrate Ganesh Chaturthi. The event aimed to introduce young learners to the cultural and spiritual significance of the festival, which honours Lord Ganesha, the remover of obstacles and the god of wisdom and new beginnings. The principal, teachers, and students of Millennium Kids were invited to join the celebration, making it an engaging and collaborative experience for everyone involved.
The event began with a warm welcome by Principal Ms. Priti Wason, who spoke about the importance of Ganesh Chaturthi and how it teaches values such as wisdom, prosperity, and perseverance. She encouraged students to embrace these qualities in their everyday lives. Following this, Ms. Sarika Hegde, Principal of Millennium Kids, addressed the gathering, expressing her gratitude for being part of the celebration and appreciating the opportunity to foster cultural learning among students.

Students from classes III and IV of Apeejay Svran Global School performed a soulful Bhajan, filling the atmosphere with devotion and reverence. The performance was followed by a traditional dance, presented by the girls, which showcased the energy and enthusiasm of the young learners. The audience, including students and teachers, was captivated by the vibrant performances, which highlighted the cultural richness associated with the festival.
To add a fun and educational element to the event, the students of Millennium Kids were shown an animated movie about Lord Ganesha, helping them better understand the stories behind the deity. This engaging visual presentation was well-received by the young audience, who enjoyed learning about the festival in an entertaining way.

After the assembly, the students of Millennium Kids were given a tour of the school’s library. They were mesmerised by the vast collection of books, and the visit left a lasting impression on them. Before leaving, the visiting students received certificates of participation as a token of appreciation for being part of the event.
