“A leader is one who knows the way, goes the way and shows the way.” Keeping this timeless thought in mind, Apeejay School, Saket was a part of the Composite Installation Ceremony of Interact Clubs, hosted at Apeejay School, Noida. This also brought together young leaders from Apeejay School, Pitampura and Apeejay Svran Global School, Sec 21-D, Faridabad.

The programme commenced with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp by Dr Neha Berlia, Chair, Interact, Rotary Club of Delhi Premier, Co-promoter of Apeejay Stya & Svran Group, Joint Secretary of Apeejay Education, and Pro-Chancellor of ASU, along with esteemed Rotarians and Education Officer and Principals from Apeejay Education. This auspicious beginning was followed by a short yet vibrant cultural programme, where students presented graceful dance performances symbolising tradition, discipline and unity. The cultural interlude set the perfect tone for the day’s proceedings.

The highlight of the event was the swearing-in ceremony of the newly elected office bearers of the Interact Club. The President from Apeejay School, Saket, Adam Bashneen, along with the Vice PresidentSecretary, Treasurer and 14 board members took the oath of office. With hands raised in solemnity, they pledged to serve society selflessly, uphold the values of the club and carry forward the legacy of student leadership.

Sharing his thoughts on the occasion, Dr Sujeet Eric Masih, Principal of Apeejay School, Saket, remarked, “A small step by Interactors, a giant leap for the cause of peace, inclusion, unity, resilience, harmony, brotherhood and other human values.”

The Composite Installation Ceremony of Interact Clubs was not just about the formal installation of leaders, but also about nurturing qualities of teamwork, empathy, accountability and service-learning. By participating in the Interact Club, students of Apeejay School, Saket gain opportunities to work on meaningful community projects, learn organisational skills and develop a sense of civic responsibility.
