Recognising the crucial role teachers play in guiding students towards informed career choices, Apeejay School, Sector 15, Faridabad, proudly celebrates the successful completion of the Career Counselling Training Program by its educators, Ms Surbhi Jain and Ms Shalini Yadav. The specialised training was organised by IIT Madras Pravartak in collaboration with BodhBridge ESPL.

The two-day intensive workshop was facilitated by Mr Balaraju Kondaveeti, CEO of BodhBridge ESPL, and brought together educators committed to enhancing their ability to support students in navigating an increasingly complex career landscape. The programme aimed to equip teachers with structured and scientific career counselling methodologies that go beyond traditional academic performance indicators.

A key highlight of the training was the introduction to the MCMF Framework, a comprehensive approach designed to help educators understand and guide students based on multiple dimensions, including personality traits, interests, aptitudes, and aspirations. Participants gained valuable insights into personality assessment techniques, psychometric report interpretation, career mapping strategies, and the significance of involving parents in the career planning process.

Through interactive discussions, case studies, and practical exercises, the workshop enabled educators to develop the skills required to assist students in making well-informed academic and professional decisions. The training emphasised the importance of aligning students’ strengths and interests with suitable career pathways, thereby fostering confidence and clarity in their future pursuits.

In today’s rapidly evolving world, career guidance has become an essential component of holistic education. Teachers often serve as trusted mentors who influence students’ aspirations and decision-making. By participating in such professional development initiatives, educators strengthen their ability to provide meaningful support and personalised guidance to learners.

The programme reinforced the evolving role of teachers as career mentors and equipped them with practical tools to help students explore opportunities, evaluate options, and make informed choices about their futures. Apeejay School remains committed to empowering its educators through continuous learning opportunities, ensuring that students receive the guidance and encouragement needed to thrive in an ever-changing global environment.
