Apeejay Noida pledges to walk the path shown by Dr Stya Paul on his Punya tithi

Apeejay School, Noida, organised a special assembly within the school premises to commemorate the 12^th Punya tithi (death anniversary) of Dr Stya Paul, founder chairman of Apeejay Education and Apeejay Stya Group.

NN Nayyar, senior education officer, Apeejay Education Society, AK Sharma, school principal, Amrita Hajela, vice-principal, and primary incharge Smriti Samuel paid a heartfelt floral tribute to Dr Paul. The teaching and non-teaching staff joined this momentous occasion to honour the late founder. The students presented soulful renditions of Dr Paul’s favourite bhajans.

Addressing the gathering, NN Nayyar shared some of his valuable experiences with Dr Paul, while inspiring students with lessons from his life.

The school principal reiterated that late Dr Paul was an epitome of indomitable spirit, hard work, and excellence; a visionary who continues to inspire and motivate the entire Apeejay community. 

Apeejay Noida pledged to continue walking the path shown by Dr Paul.

Dr Stya Paul was an eminent industrialist, educationist, philanthropist, and freedom fighter. He realised quite early the importance of providing quality education to citizens, which, in turn, could contribute to nation-building. In line with his vision to set up not-for-profit educational institutions in India, he started with a small school in Jalandhar in 1967. Today, Apeejay boasts of a large number of schools and institutions for higher education, spread across various Indian cities, dedicated to imparting value-based education to promote man-making. 

Throughout his career, Dr Paul was actively associated with various social and cultural bodies. He went out of his way to help people in every way possible. He retained his zeal for hard work even in his advanced age. 

Dr Paul passed away on June 7, 2010.
