Apeejay institutes in Jalandhar extend a heartfelt tribute to Dr Stya Paul, the Founder Chairman

Marking the 13th Punya Tithi of late Dr Stya Paul, Founder Chairman of Apeejay Education and Apeejay Stya Group, Apeejay institutes in Jalandhar paid a heartfelt tribute and remembered his remarkable contributions in the field of education. 

On this solemn occasion, Dr Neerja Dhingra, Principal at Apeejay College of Fine Arts (ACFA), along with all the faculty members offered a floral tribute and prayed for the peace of the pious soul. 

Dr Dhingra expressed her deep respect and admiration for Dr Stya Paul ji on this occasion, acknowledging his relentless efforts in transforming the educational landscape while laying the foundation of Apeejay Education and fostering an environment of excellence and innovation. She also mentioned Dr Stya Paul ji’s efforts in promoting education and fine arts to the masses deserve admiration and appreciation. His role in making education accessible and his commitment to nurturing talent have left a profound legacy that continues to shape Apeejay Education.

The Principal further added that Dr Stya Paul ji was a strong advocate for women’s education and empowerment. His belief in the pivotal role of women in society and their education as the foundation of societal success demonstrates his progressive mindset and visionary thinking.

Dr Neerja Dhingra said that Mrs. Sushma Paul Berlia, the present Chairperson of Apeejay Education Society and Chancellor of Apeejay Stya University is playing a crucial role in upholding the rich legacy of Dr Stya Paul ji and his visionary ideas. By carrying forward his

vision, Mrs Sushma Paul Berlia ensures that Apeejay Education continues to thrive and make a positive impact in the field of education.

A melodious rendition of Dr Stya Paul ji’s favourite bhajans, including Vishvapati Ke Dhyan Mein and Raghupati Raghav Raja Ram were sung on the occasion creating a serene and respectful atmosphere, reminding everyone of the remarkable legacy left behind by this visionary leader.

Similarly, Apeejay Institute of Management & Engineering Technical Campus in Rama Mandi Jalandhar organised a special prayer meeting to pay tribute to Dr. Stya Paul ji. It was an occasion to  seek  blessings  and  salute  the noble and great personality for being a visionary and inspiration for the Apeejay family.

Mrs. Sushma Paul Berlia in one of her addresses had shared the success mantra of Dr Stya Paul ji that he always believed ‘Work is Worship’. He was an educationist, industrialist, philosopher, freedom fighter and entrepreneur par excellence.

Dr Rajesh Bagga, Director at AIMETC, faculty, and staff members paid their homage.This was followed by an address by Dr Rajesh Bagga during which he mentioned that Dr Stya Paul ji was a father figure to all and it was reflected in the personal care and concern he had for each and every member of the vast Apeejay family.

Dr Bagga further added that though our Founder Chairman is not physically  present  with  us,  his legacy continues in the form of institutions that he built. “Each of these institutions”, he mentioned, “are living monuments”  that  stand  for  the  values  and  pursuit  of  excellence  that Dr Stya Paul ji cherished.

The address was followed by listening to Dr. Stya Paul ji’s favourite hymns  and bhajans. He was a pious and spiritual soul and was fond of listening to devotional music. Some of his favourite bhajans and couplets of Saint Kabir were played on the occasion. The prayer meeting concluded by observing silence to pay respect and tribute to the noble soul. Prashad was distributed in the end.
