Apeejay pays homage to beloved Dr Stya Paul on his 12th Punya Tithi 

At Apeejay College of Fine Arts (ACFA), Principal of the institute, Dr. Neerja Dhingra, Principal of Apeejay School, Mahavir Marg, Mr. Girish Kumar along with the teaching and non-teaching staff came together on this momentous occasion to honour the late founder. They paid a heartfelt floral tribute to Dr Paul and remembered the values and vision of beloved ‘Sethji’.

The students were apprised of the life and achievements of this great soul, who has set a benchmark by overcoming all odds. He successfully established an industrial conglomerate as well as a group of educational institutions of world-class standards.

On this occasion, postgraduate students from the Department of Music sang some of the favourite bhajans of Dr Paul like Vishwapati ke dhyan me jisne lagai ho lagan, Meera ka bhajan and Raghupati Raghav Raja Ram. Dr. Dhingra encouraged the students to walk on the path shown by the visionary personality so that they could soar higher and higher. She added, “On the death anniversary of Dr. Stya Paul, our revered founder chairman, I pay obeisance to the great man whose exemplary life story inspires us for persistent hardwork, determination and commitment towards our goals. He was an eminent educationist, a successful industrialist and a philanthropist. He had strong will power, calibre, resilience, dedication and leadership qualities. We must all try to emulate his footsteps”

Further, Mr. Girish Kumar said, “The Punya Tithi of Dr Stya Paul Ji is not just a day of remembrance and commemoration; it is a day of reminding ourselves of the values that he stood for, a day of re-dedicating our lives to those virtues and ideals. It’s a day of commitment to our roles as teachers. May we be able to live up to his cherished ideals.”

Similarly, faculty members at Apeejay Institute of Management and Engineering Technical Campus (AIMETC) organised a special assembly to seek blessings as well as pay their respect to the noble personality for being a visionary and inspiration for all.  

Speaking on the occasion, Dr Rajesh Bagga, Director of the institute said that Dr. Paul was a father figure for all and it was reflected in the way he cared for each and every member of the Apeejay family. He further added, “The legacy established by our Founder Chairman will continue to grow. Each of these institutions are living monuments that stand for the values and pursuit of excellence that Dr. Stya Paul cherished.” 

Seeking inspiration from the Chairman sir, who was an epitome of resilience and determination, the members of faculty took a pledge that they would try their best to make Dr. Stya Paul’s dream and vision come true.
